The Mongolia Society’s 2026 Annual Meeting will be held October 2-3, 2026, at Western Washington University, in Bellingham, Washington.
Western Washington University has been a leader in Mongolian Studies for more than fifty years. Beginning in the 1970s under the leadership of Professor Emeritus Henry G. Schwarz and the East Asian Studies program, the university developed courses in Mongolian history, culture, language, and literature, including a pioneering language program at Inner Mongolia University in the 1980s.

Members and non-members are welcome to attend the meeting in-person (Please select the attendance fee links here). 

Virtual attendance via Zoom is free and open to both members and non-members, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and to ensure we can communicate important details by email.
